After nearly three decades covering politics and government in California, John Myers, Sacramento Bureau Chief for the Los Angeles Times, announced on Twitter, of course, that he is hanging up his reporter’s notebook. He will be leaving the Times at the end of the month. He did not say what is next for him, but this is not retirement. We will wait patiently to find out what his future plans are. Calpeek, the Political Water Cooler, would like to thank John for his many years of hard work and for providing us with essential news coverage.
